RSVP below to attend the R.E.J.O.I.C.E. Evangelism Training ministry. Get ready to be equipped with tools and instilled with confidence and tactics for sharing the Gospel.
This group meets every Sunday at 7:30 a.m. Donuts and coffee are provided. The current teaching series is led by Brad Bruner and is called "Fishers of Men" (6 weeks).
There are scheduled group outings planned as well, including Sunday, 2/14/21 (Valentine's Day). This group will have pizza before going out, will break into groups and then return to the Fellowship Hall to discuss the experiences.
Additional teachings include content from "Way of the Master" and tactics by Greg Koukl.
You may be wondering why this group is called R.E.J.O.I.C.E.
What do the angels do when you bring one lost sheep back? They rejoice, right? (Luke 15:7). So here is the acrostic:
R.E.J.O.I.C.E.
(Philippians 4:4) Rejoice in the Lord always. Again, I will say, rejoice!
- Repent-Mark 1:15-The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand, "Repent, and believe in the gospel"
- Exalt-Phil 2:9- Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name
- Jesus- Matt 1:21-And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name, Jesus, for He will save His people from their sin.
- Obey-Joshua 24:24 (b) The Lord our God we will serve, and His voice we will obey.
- Immanuel - Isa 7:14(b) Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.
- Christ-Romans 1:16- For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes
- Eternal -John 10:28- And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish: neither shall anyone snatch them out of My Father's hand.
