If you would like to join in on activities hosted by our Women's Ministry (known as the Ladies of Calvary Fellowship), we encourage you to attend the LCF's monthly fellowship gatherings! The next meeting is scheduled for Saturday, October 10, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
This month's event is also a potluck with a breakfast food theme, so please bring a contribution if you are able to do so.
Each monthly gathering takes place in our campus Sanctuary (while our Fellowship Hall is under construction) and they are a wonderful opportunity to fellowship with your sisters in Christ and dive into God's word together. We hope to see you there!

If you have not been Baptized—then now is the time. Don't delay! Get signed up for Baptism Sunday, October 11, to take place after services.
What does it mean To Be Baptized?
Baptism is best described as an outward act of obedience that portrays the inner work that Jesus Christ has done in our lives through our faith in Him for salvation. When a Christian is immersed in water it symbolizes our union with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection. The Apostle Paul writes in Romans 6:3-4, “Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? We were buried therefore with Him by baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in the newness of life.”
When a believer in Jesus Christ is immersed under the water, it is a picture of going down into the grave and being buried. Coming up out of the water, in turn, is a picture of being raised with Christ to walk in the newness of life. In essence, it symbolizes a person dying to his or her old way of life and rising to live a new way of life in Jesus Christ through the power and enabling of the Holy Spirit (Colossians 2:6-15).
Although Jesus commands believers to be baptized (Matthew 28:19) as did the Apostles (Acts 2:38), you must understand that baptism is not necessary for salvation. Your salvation is through faith in Christ alone. The Lord asks us to be baptized not only to give an outward testimony of the work He has done in our lives, but also to strengthen and encourage our faith and the faith of those who witness your baptism. Here at Calvary Fellowship, we have four Baptism services a year.

No matter what the circumstances, grief is a painful process. GriefShare is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief as they deal with the death of a family member or friend.Over 14 weeks, you’ll find relief and comfort as you learn what to expect in the days ahead and how to navigate your personal grief process. Since there are no neat, orderly stages of grief, you’ll learn helpful ways of coping with grief, in all its unpredictability—and gain solid support each step of the way.
Topics include how to manage grief-related emotions such as loneliness, anxiety, sadness, anger, and regret; how to cope with the changes in your life and relationships; how to recognize what’s normal in grief; and what to do if you feel stuck or hopeless.
At our weekly GriefShare meetings, you will view a video featuring respected counselors, teachers, and healthcare professionals on grief-related topics. After that is a small-group discussion for sharing, support, and personal application of what you learned on the video. You will receive a book to take home filled with valuable exercises for navigating your personal grieving process.

On Wednesday, September 23, 1857, with only 6 people attending a prayer meeting on Fulton Street in New York City, a revival began that would lead to over 1 million people accepting Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
Therefore, we ask that you join us for prayer and praise on Wednesdays, 12-1 p.m., as we ask God to revive His people, once again, and stir us to repentance.
