All middle and high school students are invited to join our Flashpoint Student Ministries on Sunday, July 26, from 9:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. for a day trip to Elitch Gardens water and theme park in Denver, CO.
COST: $50 per student, due on the day of the event, to cover lunch and admission (sponsorships are available!)
ITEMS TO BRING: Wear lightweight/breathable clothing (for warm weather); swimwear and towel (for waterpark); sunglasses; sunscreen; a clear plastic water bottle; a drawstring bag/backpack for personal items; extra cash for snacks (optional)
TRANSPORTATION: Students are welcome to carpool in the church van from the CFFV campus. We will leave promptly in the morning according to the schedule below. All students under 18 are required to be driven by either a parent/guardian or by a registered CFFV adult volunteer. All CFFV drivers must be over 21, complete a background check, and provide current proof of insurance. At no time should a student be alone with an adult in any vehicle.
SCHEDULE:
- 9:30AM: Meet at CFFV (after 8 a.m. church service)
- 9:45AM: Load van, pray
- 10:15AM: Load into vehicles, depart
- 11:45AM: Arrive at Elitch Gardens
- 12:00PM: Lunch in the parking lot
- 12:30PM: Enter theme park
- 6:00PM: Depart for CFFV
- 7:30PM: Arrive at CFFV
SAFETY RULES:
- You must follow all safety rules set by the park and by CFFV leadership
- You must remain within eyesight of an adult leader at all times, unless changing or using the restroom
- You must stay with your assigned group
- If you intentionally leave your assigned group or break any rule set by youth leaders, your guardian will be contacted and you may be sent home early
